Major input lag

im talking the worst input lag in any shooter ive ever played. its like playing a streamed game. Please tell me im not alone.

edit: i have since swapped to linux and the issue at some point is not longer so bad.

With the default settings, as they are the first time you launch, yes I had bad input lag. After tweaking the settings for my system, nope. Im using full screen (not windowed) with nvidia adaptive sync on. This 2014 acer monitor dont have all the fancy free sync / G sync stuff. It really depends on your setup.

g pro mouse logitechg 512 keyboard. Both are set fine, they work on litteraly everything else without issue.

6700k + gtx 1080
my fps is fine. vsync is global forced off

No input lag here. Try tweaking graphical settings.

You could try turning V-sync on. Unlikely to fix the issue, but you'd be surprised.

game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up man I can't run it well with my rtx 3080 gpu i have 250-300 fps but the freaking game is laging idk if it's input lag i tried gsync freesync i tried changing my nvidia 3d settings 30 times my monitor settings like 6 times i tried using lower refresh rate (i usually play on 165hz)

it's been months since u posted this thread, did u find any solution to this problem?

i managed to reduce input lag and improve mouse aim through some advanced tweaks that work for all games but nothing makes doom respond well enough and doom eternal has the worst lag of any shooter ive ever played. Only beaten by the build engine.

yeah the game is insane but these small issues literally make the game unplayable for me at least
