I guess they had to program. Master levels similarly.
I am playing famine mode now in nightmare but having to start over evrrytime is a bit much
There are no Slayer gates in master levels. I don't think cheat codes like Famine work either.
That does apply for mission replay though, and I agree it could be tweaked.
Also, Cultist Base is only an hour for maybe the first playthrough. Once you know the map and the arenas decently well it should take less time.
Like acrade mode on D16, these are meant to be one-off bite sized experiences. Saving progress doesn't make a ton of sense in something that isn't part of progression, but instead is an all-inclusive challenge. Part of the challenge of the master levels is start-to-finish completion in a single run.
But yes, they should warn or explain it.
