Ultra Nightmare Cheese Strats

I have completed everything except a UN run. Honestly im just not that good at the game but would really like to 100% it.
Any tips/ cheese you can recommend?
i know you can save at the end of the level with alt f4 to practice in nightmare. So thats something at least.

You can use cheat engine to cheat if it’s impossible, but if you’re like me and looking forward to the challenge, practicing the level in nightmare a few times is indeed a solution.
You can also attempt to save scum so you only have to complete each individual level without dying even once.

If you're not good enough then you're not good enough. The challenge is for yourself. There isn't even an achievement if thats what you're after. So whats exactly the point in cheating it?

the gold skin... im not asking to cheat it, just if there is a way of making it easier. I honestly think the fact you can't save is stupid. it is a long campaign, not everyone can sit at their pc for 10+ hours straight trying to get it.

No, i have beaten the game on Nightmare and thats how i know im not good enough. i died a dozen times in the campaign so i doubt i could run deathless.

Okay, well, weapon swap is your friend. Rocket, ballista, super shotgun are your highest damage single shot weapons, and quick swapping between them after every shot gives you a higher dps than even the turret chaingun or bottomless micro missiles.
Also, try looking up videos of people playing ultra nightmare and see what they do, how they tackle what enemy, etc.

Well. Just try it. The first level can definitely be annoying. Memorize enemy spawns. Find out what runes and upgrades work the best. Also take note what weapon masteries you want to get and start doing them as early as possible. I died a bunch of times but now I remember pretty much everything from the first 4 levels and can beat them in under an hour. I know that I CAN cheese/cheat it for the skin but I would rather just try to semi speedrun it all and if I can't do it okay I can't do it.

You could first try Nightmare on the limited lives mode. If you can beat it with more than 10 lives remaining you get a skin which looks very much like the golden one.

i feel like there shouldnt be a cheese or a cheat around
its a challenge to copmplete by mastering it and i had the absolute biggest shakes in the later levels its an acomplishment and theres a reward its absolutely doable in this game with commitment and playing it rather safe( dont just blindly jump into the frey etc. with the bosses beeing the real challenge)

I wouldn't bother taking it seriously right now. The game has a lot of bugs and you will die from using your chainsaw and other stupid ♥♥♥♥.

The combat flow of the game is broken on the Nightmare difficulty, you have to cheese the game and keep your stats really low otherwise the demons get too fast and will kill you no matter what you do.

Whatever you do, DO NOT play really really fast, the game will compensate for your reaction speed and keep speeding up the Demons response time until it gets so bad you will spawn and then instantly die before you can push the Q button.

I see a lot of folks playing "Nightmare" and i'm just laughing my ass off because it's like that doesn't look like my Nightmare at all that looks like easy mode, lol I think I click too fast and so now the game has everything maxed out on 14 trying to compensate.

I even tried a little experiment, I was noticing I was dying before I could even move, dying before I could switch weapons, dying halfway through my dash, dying before I can even whip out the BFG etc etc. I let them kill me over and over on Nightmare like 20x in a row and the game got a lot slower after that, I am super super sure the engine will compensate somehow for your reaction speed by adjusting the demon reaction delay accordingly.

The game needs ALOT of work to approach UN runs and your guns are laughably slow, even with the animation upgrades the weapon switching is so so slow and the weapon DPS so low I wouldn't even bother with it, if you're fast go play Street Fighter or something this game doesn't reward good quick play it's just a flashy blow ♥♥♥♥ up game meant to be played on Medium. IMO It's not for hardcore or serious gamers at all lol Suprised it wasn't devloped for mobile
