Ok so I have a gtx 880m and the latest geforce driver is 425...

ran it with some noticeable fps drops( You essentially get free slowmo at random times lol) during large areas/huge firefights with a gtx 845m. Settings all set to low of course. The latest driver is a must though.

Gotta say though if you can its better to wait till you have something that can properly run it. From personal experience playing it on 2 different configs (This and a gtx 1070 with a cpu that can actually handle it) the difference it very noticeable and the combat is much more fun/faster if you can manage it

But how did you install the latest driver ? I can't see it on geforce experience and the versions I tried from www.guru3d.com says that I don't have a compatible card... oO

Same here, but the versions that refused to install for me were from NVIDIA's own site.

Wow you are right, seems like you can't have the latest driver with 870 & 880 versions... Maybe I'll check again in a few days...
So today, I bought the game, downloaded it, couldn't run it, asked and obtained a refund... ^^

I have the same problem. Waited til launch day... then find out that Nvidia hasn't upgraded drivers for the 780M series. $60 well spent. Yay.

Shame is that doom 2016 runs smoothly on my laptop, with high settings... damn...

I did get a refund. Didn't know that was a thing. Thought like most digital services it was caveat emptor. Got it for PS4 instead. Bummed I won't be rocking the insane graphics, but it's pretty enough on console that I'm not furious.
