Why won't it run??????
I bought a disc copy of this game off of Amazon. Installed it, but whenever I try to run it, it won't friggin' work, says that Stubbs.exe has stopped working.

For reference, here is my system credentials

Win 8
AMD-A10 4600M APU with Radeon (tm) HD 2.3Ghz
6 GB RAM
64 bit, x64 processor

Would it be possibly to get this game running through a Windows 7 or XP emulator?

It was removed from the steam store for this same issue. It will only run on an NVIDIA graphics card, and ONLY ones that were made before 2007. So unless you've got a really old pc lying around, you're out of luck. Best bet is to buy and xbox version.

Do a bit of googling and you'll find out why this is. It's upsetting because I really want to play it too :c

Direct copy from Steam Forums (Only works with ANY Nvidia Card - download 'Nvidia Inspector tool': "On a side note, for those out there unfamiliar with nVidia inspector:
1. Run the app
2. Click on the settings button next to 'driver version'
3. Scroll down to 'common'
4. Extension limit will probably be off, just click on the 'off' and select;
"0x00004844 (Call of Duty: United Offensive, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic, Star Wars: Jedi Knight - Jedi Academy, GLOBE Graphics Test Tool, Soldier of Fortune 2: Double Helix, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2, Call of Duty, Star Wars: Jedi Knight II - Jedi Outcast)"
from the drop down list.

Then run the game, and it should load. You may have to wait for a few mins like I did."

Worked for me!

This fix works for the most part on windows 8 if you run it in compatibility for windows 7. The people appear as pink blobs and you can't start campaign. A menu screen is better than no screen at all right?

As of today, the game works on Windows 10 Pro without doing any troubleshooting / custom driver tool installations.
