Better Battle System, only one ending, smoother framerate, attack animations added, a bounty mode and a couple other small things

Smoother framerate? VIIR only has 30fps vs VII's 60fps. other than that, everything else is valid

no separate save files, the whole game is auto save.
no more awesome DLC characters

VIIR has

None of the DLC Characters from VII and their side stories are not in VIIR

VIIR has no alternate endings so you only get 1 ending. Less story content as well.

An inferior battle system with a less story content and all you get in return is pointless VR content. I'd say pass VIIR

Only reason for VIIR really is the VR Headset cutscenes.

Differences
------------------------------------------------------------
Megadimension Neptunia VII

Has New Game+

Has Multiple Save Slots

Has the extra story based dlc characters God Eater, Million Arthur, Nitroplus etc..

Has Multiple Endings

Has better graphics filtering and lighting quality for the Bloom effects

------------------------------------------------------------

Megadimension Neptunia VIIR

No New Game+

Only ONE save file no save slots

Does not have any of the DLC side stories and characters.

Does not have alternate endings.

Has an inferior battle system

Does not have Bloom effect and has lower graphics filtering and lighting quality
(Although some old dungeons were given re design with higher quality textures and transparent textures)

Redesigned HUD

Other party members follow you in dungeons.

And the only good thing about it is that it has VR cutscenes of the Goddesses and thats basically it.....

TLDR unless you are interested in VR Headset cutscenes VIIR is not worth it at all and the original Neptunia VII is the superior version.

Also the ending after all the post game cut-scenes play out is very different. Instead of the Thanks for playing Corner the series is known for that is in Rebirth 1 and 3 and the Original VII you just have Adult Neptune saying thanks for playing and says goodbye Also the EXP bug has been fixed as well. Graphically the game is improved over the original VII.

I'm glad you don't need VR for talking to the CPUs. (I'm poor from upgrading PC) I NEVER GOT TO FINISH VII so I'll deff pick this up. I think the better battle statement will fix how I felt about the first one.

i still don't understand what kinda mushroom nuts did they smoke to NOT having multiple save files on a JRPG game. The-world-is-very-strange.gif

Yeah after playing both versions of VII it seems like IF when forwards with upgrading the graphics and fixing the bugs but they have gone backwards with other stuff like the battle system and the save slots and the optional DLC weapons.

Yeah. I like having 3 saves. One for world. One before boss n one to complete all endings. But not having the multiple endings is not very Napping game like. But I'll still bite
Arctic Chicken Oct 22, 2018 @ 2:32pm
just find the file in your PC and copy your save make folder to hold 100000 saves if you like.... just have to drop any save file back in game folder at anytime.. O i guess u have to restart the game when u load them ... but cant win them all ..... real easy fix....

Screw the English dubs in those videos.

Especially since Nepgear's original, gentle, loving voice is done by Hocchan, and in those clips, she sounds like Generic Anime Action Girl
