Purchase individual music packs?

Any way? "Just as Planned" is too pricey for for me, and I'm not interested in every pack.

I think that's their hook. The game itself is pretty cheap, but if you want to expand on it, you gotta pay up. You gotta get it all or nothing I believe.

When I get to the point that I'm running out of content I'll either have had my fill of the game, or I'll have no problem coughing up the... ?$30?... dollars because it doesn't matter to me anyway. I don't know any of this music and while I don't hate it, there isn't much of it I'd add to my actual music collection, I'd not put it on an iPod if you get me.

You can but only if you play on the mobile version, as for why, I think that it's because micro-transactions aka in-game purchases are frowned upon more by PC people than mobile users. Since having a new DLC ever month would not sound appealing, they made it a season pass styled dlc, which is much more appealing to people like me with the too many dlc/live-service hate.

TL:DR no, only on mobile (which doesn't transfer fyi). it's just what would sell better imo.

It's not pricey. If you buy it you get ALL existing and upcoming (monthly) songpacks and sometimes new content for free. The song database is really huge. At the beginning I also thought it's pricey but now, it's a bargain.

Maybe. But if you are in rythm games, you will like it, despite some not so great songs.

it went on sale a few months ago or earlier for 20% off, so yes, it does, though not too frequently (luckily the wishlist updates work)
