Impossible to get the phone directory to find warehouse n8

At the point i need to find the adress of warehouse n8, i can't. I made a mistake in my choice calling 104 so i can't call them again. Now i need to find the adress in the phone directory at the tobacco store but i can't either. Makes me either try to call on the public phone or talking to the grandma leading the store. But i can't pick up the directory.

Help please? Is it a bug?

I was able to focus on it directly with the zoom/look trigger and select it. Three selectable (phone/lady/directory) things that close and it's bound to get hairy. If you can't focus on it and select it with A (it triggers a cutscene of sorts) that's definitely a bug. I'm running beta 1.01 and had no issues with that part. This is the first time I've seen it posted here so I imagine it's just the game's controls being a bit hairy as usual.

Thanks, i just didn't use the zoom. It was impossible to get it without it.

There's also one in the cabinet under the phone at Ryo's house.

You have to pull the left trigger. If you don't do that, it's just going to initiate a conversation :)

You're going to have to become familiar with that mechanic because it's the only way you can buy stuff :P

Love the Steamdeck community - never finished this on the Sega Dreamcast and playing through on the deck. I couldn't work out how to activate the mechanic to read the directory! Stoked - thx!!
