Contraband search and vehicle inspection

There is no way this game is 100% accurate on the contraband search and damage control check. Multiple times i have searched a vehicle inside and out at close range with black light and it tells me the vehicle is damaged or missing things where it isn't or there was contraband where their was not. No snakes, Nothing missing. I am very precise when it comes to my searches. I had my nose literally in the engine block with a black light and it told me there was drugs in the engine. It has to be a bug. And i hope it gets fixed

somettimes it doesn'tt show with a snake, especiallly in places like the engine. you have tto physically see it tucked away. Ive found (especially with bigger engines), you have to check the engine from muulttiplle angles. this is not a bug.

The snake symbol shows that there's contraband hidden behind something, like metal casing of a car. It doesn't show when its juust physically tucked away, like between car seats, engine, uunder dashboard, under car seats.

No i know, i understand the mechanic that things which can be visible even from awkward angles, don't have a snake symbol. It's only the things that have to be opened or broken and not possibly visible that have a snake symbol. I get that. These are things that i looked very closely at from all angles and there was no snake symbol and it still says i missed it. It's more common with the vehicle damage tho. It will say there was a missing mirror when their clearly wasn't. That's not something i would miss lol. It's stuff that i know the game is just glitching out on. Still love the game and am really enjoying it.

yeah its a big hurdle with this game for us but i magine its iinsane fro the devs. How do you telll if itts a bug if people consisternly miss things. :P

im usuallly chalking itt up to my own human error :P then i start bashing apart the cars ot make myself feel better

I feel like I am blind, cause I too was being precise, I searched everywhere for vehicles on contraband and I cannot for the life of me find the last 1-3 of certain vehicles. They need to add in something that glows for me, the snake symbol helps but cause I can't see the drug to grab, I'm basically reloading the save.

i could swear its glitched at times, as there is contraband in a tire that has no snake

When inspecting a car you may notice things missing like rearview mirrors or flat tires. On the Inspection sheet (hotkey N) you can check off the damages a vehicle has on the bottom.
