You will need to rewrite the Code for the whole game from the ground up
write propper net-code
provide and pay for Servers
etc
to be fair, we all pllay differently and its not a crime to ask...
So? - A game can be both multiplayer and single player at the same time.
I also agree that this game would be amazing in co-op with friends, but I also understand the complexities of adding multiplayer. Hopefully Contraband Police 2 (if it ever happens), will support Coop play.
Yes. it would be really nice to at least be able to play with your brother. it would be much more fun to play.
Thats a shame, maybe for the next one! because this could actually work well in co-op. 2 eyes on each inspection to double check nothing has been missed, and you can both build up and defend the outpost. It would actually be a tonne of fun. Or one person can stay and check cars while the other goes off and does the side missions etc. Plenty of potential.
FYI you dont need to pay for servers. plenty of games do local hosting. Like, this isnt a new idea at all. lol.
like for example you could add a second lane but if now i have a few ideas
1 person check the documents the other search for contrabands and whene theres a shooting second player could be useful
there is a solo mode and multi and you choose, by adding multi we dont force you to play it
