but really last.
There's a puzzle for you
Ah, thank you! I was half way through this but this should help!
But I don't understand why Firmament was released in such a bugged state to begin with. It feels like it's an Early Access game, but it doesn't have the Early Access label. Did it get rushed out to meet a deadline? Are players being used as play testers? I really want to play, but I guess I'll let it cook a few more months to give more time for more patches to release.
Good luck
It was a lot less rushed than Obduction though.
I'm happy see the ice crane getting fixed up, will definitely help when replaying as it's been far too easy to glitch it into a complete deadlock.
Looking forward to a much smoother playthrough after all the patches :)
I was trying to move an ice block but then got stuck, so I teleported to safe location. This brought me back inside the factory but:
1) The rotary crane is back at its very original position so only from within the factory
2) To reach the crane I have to cross the "caged box", except that the box is far away from the broken bridge and its only direction (when I manage to connect the adjunct) is "Reverse", so it doesn't go back to the broken bridge.
I tried chuting down with another ice block but it doesn't work. once the ice block reaches the factory there's another one in front of it and it doesn't lower to the cage level, so I had to teleport again inside the factory.
When will this be fixed??? My previous save was a while ago (I know, my bad).
- lights and shadows have horrible square artifacts everywhere (workaround is to use "Low," AKA none, for shadow settings)
- I can't interact with the menu 80% of the time, when I can the menu pointers draw behind the menu and sometimes only work on one hand and only in certain directions/angles and clicking buttons doesn't always work despite the audio feedback that i clicked the button
- opening the steam VR overlay doesn't pause the game but does cause the audio to cut out permanently
- the caption overlay is stuck on 100% of the time with captions on or off in settings
- hands get stuck in fists when grabbing the device at the start
- having trouble with performance with an RTX-4090 / i9-13900K (maybe because I can't figure out how to take the game out of full screen so it's rendering at 4k on my desktop in addition to the VR displays? getting decent results with DLSS on, but no shadows.
Obduction wasn't perfect in VR either, but it was far more polished and playable. I guess I expected an improvement, especially with the 3 year delay, but I seems VR was just an afterthought once again :(
