Emperor Dom Pedro II of Brazil was a great supporter and fan of railroads and trains.

Emperor Dom Pedro II was not a fan of railroads in Brazil sadly, he only want to destroy Barão de Maua, thats why he gave all the acess to english investors, so they can take care of the railroad and dont try to compete with the Emperor and the Central Bank.
