No they cant. But normal rats also dont have glowing eyes and desolve into green mist when hit by light. Or form into literal rat "tornados". Its just a game.
While real rats may of course eat dead bodies they usually dont attack living things much bigger then themselves.

Well I'm not sure if real rats can form large swarms with some kind of shared intelligence, but their in-game behavior is somehow similar to army ants. But even the ants are not that fast in reality and they usually tend to avoid attacking bigger mammals unless it's absolutely necessary(e.g. when being attacked or if they threaten the nest), it's... simply not worth the effort. ^^

Tell that to the soldiers in the trenches of WWI, when some rats got to the size of small dogs.

Boy! you are all so dumb!

Rats live in Laboratories and conduct experiments on Humans.

Rats in this game are more like infested by rabies rather than plague, maybe a mutated version, causing them behaving like bee swarm :steammocking:

It's more supernatural.

I think you'll find it's mice that do that. I have it on good authority (Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy).

Yes that is why we exterminated all rats back in 1592. Its called the great rat purge.
