How to START game ?

Please help! When I launch the game it says something like "B/Y for Menu" and "Open Menu To Start Game". I have the Valve Index. It has no Y. I've pressed B, held B, and every other button. Nothing opens the menu. There's no way to start the game. The game page says it's compatible with the Valve Index. I've even tried the Keyboard with no luck. This is literally the ONLY game that doesn't work with the Index!...
