That means having an updated Windows 10 version and a supporting monitor.
Also some monitors (like mine) only support HDR on HDMI and not DisplayPort.
2. Open the Windows 10 Display Settings, enable "Wide Color Gamut / HDR" Desktop.

Technically this isn't required to run a game in HDR, but as you've seen, many of them will use the desktop setting to determine whether your display supports HDR. The smarter engines go directly to the driver.

If all else fails, I can offer you my own mod that enables HDR in D3D11 mode. You probably don't want said mod because the game performs worse in D3D11 :-\ My HDR looks better, but you probably want that performance.
