What's The Language Spoken In Paititi?
I've tried searching this, but it got very annoying. I even tried to write down phonetic phrases spoken by the locals and searched that... dead end.

I've read that people call it 'quiche': I doubt that. It's too modern.

What I'd like here is a player who's heard the language and knows it...

... that's a long shot, I know. What I really need is a player in Peru, with a knowledge of ancient languages to reply.

it's just that in all Tomb games, the history has been good. This'll be the same, so what's the language?

To the best of my knowledge is a derivative of Mayan
I'd have guessed that, too. My guess would be one of the 3 'dialects' that Lara learns during the game. Sadly, I can't find any translation program. I'm used to searching to translate languages and Google Translate comes up with the goods. It seems that Google Translate doesn't cover old Mayan dialects!

Searching 'translate Mam to English' 'Quetchua to English' or 'Yucatec to English' gets you nowhere.

Have you looked for any Behind The Scenes videos on the game? Making Of type of thing? Maybe the devs will have mentioned it.

That's a good idea. Even if I find nothing about the language, it should be interesting. Thanks.
According to a thread on reddit, Quechua is spoken in Paititi. A gamer's mother, who is a native speaker of Quechua, was able to understand the inhabitants of Paititi. A few phrases or forms of address like "Ahau" are in Mayan (Yucatec).
