Report a translation problem
We don't want you to take ages to take the pictures just in the right angle, it should be fairly natural, frustrationless and smooth occurence and in some cases we failed to deliver that.
No ETA currently on when exactly we will be able to apply some fixes for this but it's definately on the radar as a problem.
I have a couple of suggestionsyou could look at.
I've also been playing Take On Mars which includes taking of photos as well. They have multiple points that change colour when inside the picture, this allows you to see what you need to include in the photo without having to get one specific point.
Alternatively you could have the corner markings highlight to tell you which direction you need to move the camera.
