How do you play with friends?

I just jumped into this game, and so far I'm finding it to be really fun! The only problem is that I have a few friends that I want to play with but we have no idea how to find each other. Does anyone know how to play with friends?

invite by their name, or create host a game and ask your friend to join you from steam..

The way to do that is through the lobby system by creating/joining a specific game. However it's currently broken :( I'm building a fix as we speak, but it won't be up for another 2 hours or so.

Once the new version is up go to settings, change MMO Mode to Lobby and then play a character. Make sure you are on the same server as your friends. Then get one of you to create a game (with a password if you like). Then everyone else simply has to click the game name and enter the password.
