Save game?

I saved after finishing a boss in x3, then closed the game, later on when I started playing again, there was no loading options and when I start the game it starts from the beginning. What's going on?

You have to select Password/Continue, them press "Y" (on controller) to load the password/save, and them confirm. English and Japanese versions has their own save system.

what the game's doing is technically just reentering your password,you need to go to the password screen to continue

Having the same issue. I went to the password screen but load was greyed out and I couldn't select anything (aside from entering the password and selecting "end"). For that matter I also couldn't leave the password screen. My only option was to restart the game via the select menu.

I cleared in Mega Man X, Sigmas Stage 1 and 2. After that I closed the game. Later I loaded it again, and unfortunately I must beginn Sigmas Stage from the beginning?!?! Is this a bug?

Unfortunately no... I decided to take a break after my first Sigma boss encounter(literally just a short one boss level) and once I returned had to start the entire stage again I did save between the levels but no Joy. Best to just finish that stage in one go I guess.

That's because what the game save is the Password (and the limit is Sigma Stage 1). We don't have an option to do a "save state" like Mega Man Legacy Collection 1. Btw, you have to face three Sigma Stages to finish the game. So, beat'em all in one go.

The save system in this collection is so garbage. All it does is saving your password.

I think the last stage of Sigma has a password. But the others don`t have one :/

Same thing goes for Megaman X2 as i recall the game does not save for the sigma stages.
