Anyone else find Erik hot as ♥♥♥♥?

he was the only party member i actually liked till jade, rab, and spoiler mc spoilerson rolled around. although considering his competition was an annoying midget, a piece of wood with a weird birth mark, whatever the hell sylvando is, and the healer (i liked her but she was genuinely so forgettable i forgot her name half the time).
honestly if any character should be the protagonist of their own game it should be him (i'm like 99% sure he interacts with the rest of the party the most to)

Have Sylvando pursue the knives branch of his skill tree and he'll be the perfect character to set up Erik's Victimizer and Persecutter strats. Hustle Dance is great too.

I tried to gimmick half the game by giving them both dual teched out poison moth knives.... but guess what! If you use any status attack skill you don't ALSO get a roll on the instant-death train

To be fair, with the right setup (divide+Oomphle+sap+poison/sleep/confuse), Erik doesn't need sudden death.

Heck in my game I gave him swords and just used divide+sap+fatal flash. It's plenty strong enough for its MP cost and takes less of a hassle. Nothing in this game needs the utter overkill you can get with Erik and full buffs plus debuffs set-up.
