How do I defeat Jasper in Gondolia without any option to res my party?

Having a real hard time with this encounter. He just goes to town on either Serana or Veronica so I can't keep up the buffs and debuffs. Obviously I can't acess the casino yet to get leaves. I don't have a spell for revive yet my party is level 16 (sylv is 18)

on normal difficulty my whole party was lv15 and i killed him with
main and serena focus healing
and sylv and veronica show no mercy
serena learns zing around 18-19 i believe if that helps

Make sure Serena and Veronica are on the far right if you aren't already. Oomph up Hero/Sylv and go to town. Make Hero heal if necessary. Have Hero keep up his relevant sword guard.

use spell called buff and this fight is done. Buff and accelerate should win easy on hard mode. I also had parry on main hero, it usually saves alot of trouble on bosses so its worth taking in any tree.

I was able to do it on Draconic (Harder Enemies) mode at level 21, though it took three tries.

Serena was my hero there. I had her on Spears. Sylvando & Serena herself kept her buffed, and Veronica & Sylvando kept Jasper debuffed. Veronica’s Antimagic was vital. The Luminary just laid Zap on Jasper until Jasper killed him. I let him stay dead. :-)

The sisters were able to pull off Arboria’s Blessing, and Serena landed a 105 pt crit on Jasper. That helped a lot.

Seriously, Serena is way better as DPS than as a healbot! Honestly, I like her better than the Luminary.

dont be afraid to use strong herbs just to keep people alive

also make sure eric is using his poison / victimiser combo + sap + oomph = easy kill
