Combat mode
Hello everyone,
I know this might be silly but I want to ask before I buy the game, can I change the dynamic combat system like when I see an enime I just hit it and continue to do it, not wait for them to take possession and then start the fight.

You mean the transition to a combat field? You can't change that, no. You'll always transition to a different field.

Tales of Zestiria attempted to do exactly what you're asking and most fans didn't like it because map issues during fights. If you want to play a Tales game that lets you battle on the open map maybe you should give Zestiria a try.

The guy has no idea what is he talking about, zestiria has identical battle system to Arise in this regard.

Er... no, he's entirely correct. In Zestiria, when you get into a random encounter, the battle arena is a zoomed-in version of the environment where you encountered the enemy. It's not always noticeable because most of Zestiria's dungeons are just big rectangles one after the other, but It's notorious for being a pain in the ass if you get into a fight in narrow corridor where all of the enemies are bunched together, or if you get into a fight in a corner and the camera gets stuck there so you can't see your characters well.

If you're asking if this is turn-based; it is not. It is a real-time action RPG.

If you're asking if there is an arena transition to battles from exploration mode then yes, that's how it works.

I wish they had a "Auto resolve battle" button for some simple and easy combat, then the combat result is calculated then displayed immediately, I don't have to manually fight every combat, this game combat is bored and repeating, especially too many recolored mobs.

So just don't touch enemies? Most mobs outside of dungeons can easily be walked around since many areas are wide open.

FFXV has no arena whatsoever, Zestiria doesn't.

Well, there's the Full Auto mode where you can just sit and watch (AI controls everyone, including party leader) and occasionally press the button for Boosts and Strikes. >.>

...I mean, at least for mob/most map explorations, if you're that bored of combat just put it on Story or Normal and Full Auto combat, then increase it/do Manual or Semi-Auto before story beats if you want to experience those on a harder difficulty, something like that.

The maps are not that large, too small, easy to be catch by mobs, especial in dungeon, and I also want exp, kill count...

I don't want to wait, wait combat field loading, then the annoying fighting (why do they have to call art name each time they use?), wait the boost strike animation, wait the slow motion at the end, wait the exploration map to be loaded. Some time I have to lure 2 groups of mobs to fight once, too annoyed.
One more minus point, the combat field is the same for whole region in map, regardless of position, terrain.
Why don't they let user fight the mob directly on the exploration map? Many game did it, run a round with companions, jump to mobs then slash.
