Shionne or Kisara?

For me it's Kisara by a mile. Shionne is just too much of a ♥♥♥♥♥ for most of the game. Too bad you don't get to choose one of them for Alphen (or ship Shionne and Kisara together!)

I hate harem and romance choices in any game so fixed love interests are a godsend (esp in a Tales game where romance rarely ever happens). Personally, I don't like either of them, though ;)

I am fine with not having a choice in the romances, personally. Those kinds of situations always feel a little forced to me, or you have the make the choice characters generic enough that they'd mesh with the target character all fairly equally as well. That this story is overtly written that some characters go together, relationship wise, makes their pairings that much more interesting to watch develop and they all fit way better (at least of the harem type ones I've seen).

As for the two girls though, Kisara is best girl by a mile. Shionne is wonderful in her own right and is probably the most appealing Tsundere character I've ever seen, but Kisara the most amazing example of a truly "strong woman" that I have ever seen. She is not only a strong knight with great morals and convictions but she doesn't sacrifice her femininity to be that. She cooks, cleans, heck she even does the party's laundry. And then at a point in the game where they become self sufficient and start doing those things themselves she has a legitimate existential crisis of feeling not needed, which I can tell you as trad woman myself is very real.

If I were so inclined I could go gay for Kisara....but I am not, and I plenty taken with Dohalim myself. XD

Debatable, I know the game gives her a 14 year old tag, but her model (and Law's for that matter) is easily that of a 20+ year old. It does not help the game has actual general children NPC models that ironically actually look like they are 14 and the difference is brutal.
