Revenant hunts at 90%?

Basically, me and my team entered the Willow Street house with our usual stuff, Where one of us also had a crucifixT3 with us. Only about 45 seconds in, the Crucifix burnt off the belt of my teammate, so we took it for a Demon. When checking the Sanity in the Truck, the Average was in the lower 90s. Upon Cashing out, the game told us, it was a Revenant.
No Cursed objects were used and no Sanity Medication was used either.

I am wondering, if i missed something, because i used to be sure, that the Revvy is a 50% Ghost.

Demon hunting at 100% sanity is normal; It's their hidden ability and their natural hunt threshold is 70% instead of 50%.

Revenant at 90% on the other hand is abnormal, if the OP is 100% positive noone touched a cursed object. Rev should hunt at 50% or lower.

Oh yes sir (Or madam, sorry!). In the Statistics, the Mission time was only 1.41min (101s) and Nobody used any sort of cursed posession. We didn't even find the cursed posession in this short amount of time.
