Revenant at 60% ?

Hello, I usually play with 0 evidences with my friend, and I've encountered a situation where I was hunted by a revenant at 58-62% sanity while I was alone in the house. My friend in the truck. Is this new or it's just a bug?

Either a bug or someone started a "cursed" hunt which allows a ghost to hunt at any sanity threshold. But it hasn't changed <=50% avg sanity. If in your case you had 60% and your friend had 40%; the ghost can hunt because the avg sanity is 50%.

Nope, i'm his friend and i was in the truck, so anything changed ? The ghost can now hunt based on the average sanity even if i'm outside the house ?
And cursed hunt was impossible we play in 0 evidence with no cursed objects

Thanks for the additional info; yes regardless of who is in the house the ghost will hunt on the overall average sanity. If you were both over 50% then it was a bug.

Oh i didn't know ghost could hunt based on the average sanity... so If i was OUTSIDE the house, and my friend at 60% was inside the house, but we were, let's say, on 40% average sanity, no matter if my friend the only person in the house was above 50%, the ghost at 50% threshold can hunt ? based purely on average sanity ?

if yes, it was not a bug so, but i really never heard of ghost hunting based on average sanity and not on single sanity :/
I'm learning every day on this game ahah

Yes this was changed a while ago, sorry not sure which patch.

Edit: unless it's a banshee, i think the banshee hunts off the targets sanity, if the target is in the property.

Yes its avg of Everyone (not just those inside). Only dead people no longer count towards the avg. There is a complete "viable" strat of only having 1 person in the area and the other 3 in the truck and you're avg sanity wont drop below 75% but it will make a very boring game.
