did you actually have box ghosts? I got responses four times today and not a single false negative. The ghost is responding very clearly.

The way how it works is still identical to the old spirit box, the T1 box has just a slightly lower rate of success, so you need to ask a few more questions to be extra sure. And as always, keep the lights out, which as well hasn't changed.

That is kind of the idea for the level 1 items, is it not? Also play the training level and make sure your VOX is working.

You have to use it, when the lights are off in the room. Otherwise (if the game understands you), the most right LED will blink red even if the ghost can do spiritbox response . If you get a response it will blink white and you should hear the response.

Been stuck in the tutorial for about 10 minutes on the Spirit Box section because the ghost is just not responding... Yes, the light is off in the room. My flashlight is off as well.

EDIT: I am also not seeing Freezing Breath when I measure a Freezing Temp.

they forgot to add freezing breath to the tutorial

T1 SB has an EXTREMELY small range where you have to be nearly touching the ghost to even get a response and its still a low chance to happen for SB ghosts. Essentially you should be moving all around when using the SB to try to get near the ghost as much as possible.

on this Yokai I just had on challenge mode Spirit box was actually the fastest evidence. the ghost orbs took a solid 3 minutes to start showing up on the camera, getting dots took me well over 10 minutes but spirit box I had after like 5 questions.
