I've played multiple times with Nova and have witnessed this also on several occasions. I am not sure what the issue is, even when Nova speaks with an accident other than their own, it still refuses to acknowledge them.
this 100% sounds like they're playing with the wrong twin.
the only times the spirit box hasnt worked for me is when the X doesnt show- if it shows it means it is working.
what are the questions you are asking- look up the accepted phrases and say them line for line- its what triggers the answer.
Twins are confusing and difficult- however i found when things dont add up- like too much action in multiple rooms- always consider the twins.
my first experience with the twins- was back to back ghost events where our lights flashed, heartbeat and they showed themselves- all in a garage yet a door to a cupboard was open on the opposite side.
my second one was a ghost running backwards and forwards apparently- but we could not prove it was the other ghosts- until we went in an inconspicuous room that had a little activity but very minimal- interesting enough, the only evidence this gave us was the freezing temps. spirit box was in the hallway- the wandering twin can only give emf 5 evidence.
the twins are my least favourite of the ghosts because it is so easy to be fooled by the wandering twin.
i feel if this was a proper bug in the game it would be showing for alot more people- but hopefully you do get it sorted
Something important to note about Twins...
Twins is one REAL ghost that gives clues.
And one DECOY ghost that only does interaction, and has seperate hunt.
it very easy to get the real ghost room confused when the decoy is very active, and the real ghost is relatively quiet
Hi there, again I feel I have answered this before but we ask the age and location questions with variance, "How old are you, are you old, are you young, where are you, are you close, are you far, you go the idea"
We only use accepted phrases and there's other folk outside of the people I'm playing with who are having the same issue. And I'm seeing other discussions across the board of voice box problems.
We do hope it gets sorted soon because it's just tiring.
The only possiblities are:
A. You were chasing the wrong Twin.
B. The correct Twin was wandering and wasn't nearby when using the Spirit Box.
C. You were playing on Nightmare and the Spirit Box was the chosen Evidence omitted.
D. You had someone with a trainer or scripts in your game purposely mucking something up.
Hi there,
Again, there's multiple of us in these sessions having these problems, we understand how the twins work, we were not playing on nightmare, and we do not have anyone playing any altered version of the game. Thanks for your input but it is a bug if multiple folk are having the issue.
A. Every room was checked with the spirit box multiple times, other evidence (Freezing Temperatures, Motion Sensors) were found which only occurs where the main twin is.
B. See point A.
C. We were playing on Intermediate, so all evidence should have been present.
D. No one was running a trainer or scripts.
This issue only occurs with the Twins and no other type of ghost.
again, spirit box is the very first evidence i get 99% of the time when it is any spirit box ghost, twins or no twins. the spirit box has taken the place of the old thermometer, for me.
so far, you've only offered anecdotal evidence, and people tent to misrepresent the actual facts like that. intentionally, or not.
start recording games, and upload some video of this "bug" in action. then the facts would be indisputable.
I'm sorry that you feel this way, but there's even other folk who I've played with who have posted here and confirmed it's an issue. And there are other threads. We are aware of the mechanics, we are aware of how these things work especially with some of the folks I've played with having nearly 1000+ of gameplay. And I've submitted things in the past, aswell as all these things being visible on our streams. But I do not have to justify myself to you. Please stop commenting if you have nothing positive to contribute to an actual bug problem we are having, thank you.
