One glance at my profile reveals that i have several hundred hours across FO76 and Mon Hun World, however the cryptids present in FO76 for example, while extremely rare will never be as dangerous nor potent as something Phasmophobia, and that's because it's a game made with Cryptids in there, not a game about Cryptids, while Monster Hunter is a boss rush game. In silence looks cool but it's far from what i'm looking from, i'm not into asymetrical slasher games.
The key difference is atmosphere and gameplay. I am looking for a horror game, not an action game.
I.E visit the morgue and inspect a dead body. Head to the woods/house/underground tunnels for more evidence etc
