it takes maybe 5 seconds to a minute for the ghost orbs to appear so take your time.
Difficulty does affect a few things, but it doesn't really have a direct effect on evidence. There is an indirect effect on evidence, but that's simply the difference in activity/aggression for each difficulty, nothing specific about any certain evidence. Orbs can be seen basically from the start, if you have someone watching head cams in the truck they may see the orbs before you even get things set up or truly identify the ghost room (can be hard to see them from head cams though since you are usually staring at a flashlight beam and the person is looking around everywhere).
Be aware though that orbs don't always spawn where they are meant to. Seemingly, that issue happens most on bleasdale but the farmhouse isn't the only map with orb issues reported. It's good to have at least two angles on the ghost room, and a few cameras watching nearby areas as well (including one directly below the room if that's an option). One player even mentioned they had to point the camera out the window because the orbs where spawning out of bounds on one of the houses.
