is picking up stuff as a dead player on beta only rn?

saw it in the patch note but tried doing it when i died and i couldnt do anything

i don't remember reading anything about that... i am not in beta and i certainly haven't been able to. only thing i can do as a ghost is make the motion sensor beep.

Non equipment items only, try to click and drag it, i dont think you can actually pick it up like you can when you're alive.

yah thats what i did, nothing moved lol

Just tried it with a few people - you can indeed pick up items as if you were alive (holding them in your hands and throwing them), but you can't interact with equipment at all, only items like plates, shoes, etc.

Both, the update that just came out applies to both branches.
