MAKE THE GAME HARDER
Make ghosts faster, make them hunt more often, make evidence apear less often. The game is less fun once u play it more because the ghosts are just too easy to troll and get away from. Make the difficulties more effective so for eample on pro ghosts should be faster then lower levels like amuter, also hunts should happen more often on pro. New difficulty levels should be added like master mode accessed at lvl 100, master mode makes everything a lot harder and buffs the stats of ghosts, and you are allowed more items. Or maybe impossible where u loose no items when you die but its really hard to win and there is a no money outcome unless u 5 star a map. Stars you get a start for each objective and 1 more if u complete all the objectives. Make it so u have to 5 star to get a difficulty multiplier, because often you dont want to complete all the objectives because there not worth the extra 10 bucks. Its just really repetitive,

the second hardest map is supposed to be highschool but thats not even hard, its just getting old from how easy it is and i never die.

the problem is the ghost stays in 1 room, it should change rooms at random or roam around

If it roams the whole house, pinpointing its exact location would take forever. And I'm not sure I would want to spend 2 hours just on ONE mission.

I agree that the game should be harder and I bet they are probably working on that. I just don't like the idea of the game basically becoming a torment level in diablo III. They should change up mechanics for a new difficulty rather than make it just faster and hunt more often.

It does get boring when you know the mechanics.
If the ghost wouldn't stick to one room it would make everything a lot less predictable and easy.
Right now you just get a couple of thermometers, search the room and have it full of equipment within a couple of minutes.

Once the bugs get smoothed out, the content will start being developed, im sure it will get a lot harder. Right now on beta, a couple times that I have played high school and asylum; we started with freezing temps that led to both the top and bottom floors, it was harder, people died, and eventually we had to guess the ghost because it was difficult. It took over 45+ . I like the longer games.

Honestly it was really fun, better than just speed running through the whole map like most people do anymore. But really if you just remove certain equiptment the game is a lot harder.

Yeahh the novelty is starting to wear off. Need some spoopier content, angrier ghosts.

8 players, more big maps and more than one ghost would be harder and interesting. Seeing as people do 8 player lobbies I think it would work.

The ghost should roam a lot more than it does now, but then we need more means of identifying the ghost room. Of the six evidences, few apply right now when the ghost is outside the room. Box, thermometer, book flat out do not work without the ghost. Ghost orbs are just too hard to find without knowing where to set up the cameras. EMF 5 gets pretty rough as well when the ghost is no longer there and doesn't actually verify the ghost room. That leaves only fingerprints.

Bone, Board, voodoo doll e.g. could become an indicator of the ghost room rather than being randomly spawned around the house. The ghost room could be more messed up than the other rooms.

Haha love how my thread for asking for the same thing by adding player control to the ghost got locked. Game has already lost 25% of its average playerbase compared between this sunday and the sunday from a week ago. Now the forum mods are silencing people. Such a shame that the toxic PVE crowd just happens to have the power to control whats said around here. I really hoped this game would take off but by the time the dev is done "bug fixing" there wont be enough hype left to keep the games momentum going.

hmmmm not sure where you're pulling those numbers from but as you can see from these websites https://steamdb.info/app/739630/graphs/ https://steamcharts.com/search/?q=Phasmophobia the game is doing just fine. Also, the dude didn't mention anything about player controlled ghost, just because your thread about PVP got locked doesn't mean you go into other peoples thread and complain about it. That's a one way ticket to get banned...

Now I'm not the brightest but an apples to apples comparison between peak weekend times and there is a massive difference over just 7 days, that doesn't bode well for the game. Why would there be such a massive fall off of players over just 7 days... I wonder.

That's extremely normal for most games honestly. You will see a rapid decline in players shortly after the main peek. It will usually drop over time and then find a number that it stays at.

Also guys lets keep it civil please. What happened in other topics can stay in the other topic. Lets try a nicer start here.
