Large maps, wasted space.
So the larger maps leave me feeling like there is wasted space and potential.
A few thoughts on larger maps.
- Allow more players
- Possibly have 2 teams and 2 start locations
- Have more than one ghost in larger buildings

I always thought 2 ghosts would make an interesting concept for larger maps
yeah for the bigger maps would be awesome with 2 ghosts : )

i agree, at the moment the small houses/ares are more nice to play for my team and me.

The problem with having two ghosts is that I'm pretty sure that would more often than not just lead to a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of evidence.

would be nice to meet a other hunting team during the mission , without crossing their ghost path with urs .

My luck the ghosts would both pick the same favorite room and be entirely opposite in evidence, so I'd end up with all the evidence and still no idea which ghost is what.

I'm more in the camp of there being false flags room. like there's other active rooms but there's only one ghost room. one problem that i'm seeing is, what's the point of carrying so many cameras (you only need one for the ghost orbs), two ghost books (you only need one to get written in), and soooo many sensors. once you find the ghost room you just flood everything with it and that's it. why not have it where you have to monitor a couple of rooms that way you're spreading your equipment thin and have to manage your equipment better? or another thing i was thinking was being able to maybe even exorcize the ghost or maybe finding out the history of what happened to the ghost? some other object added on top of just identifying it.

I wrote the same or kinda like that here

We can share/add more ideas for devs, if they see it ofc.
Quineloe Nov 17, 2020 @ 3:21am
main issue with more players is that they're only useful for finding the ghost room. Once you have the ghost room verified, four already is a crowd.
Red Manta Nov 17, 2020 @ 5:08am
exactly what Quineloe is saying. But it could be fun if we got a large map with 2 seperate medium size locations. So you have an outside + 2 buildings. But more people than 4 would be so crowded and you'd have all the equipment in the room in 1 sweep. Sounds boring. But i like the multiple ghosts idea

I would prefer the larger maps be reworked and be made more interesting than having more than 4 people enabled personally. The High School for example has a lot of room for improvement. The asylum could use some love to make each area unique as well. It would be ideal that each map have enough unique areas that a player can make call outs on location and everyone instantly know where it's at instead of the map being mostly symmetrical.

Agreed.

All these ideas are pretty damn good. Base game is good, but needs something so all this extra map, equipment, and level progression makes sense.

B-but you'd have a mess of evidence with multiple ghosts!
So it gets harder in a natural, and intuitive way? Sign me up.

my group always makes it a mission to find the bone on bigger maps. adds a bit more purpose for exploration and an added challenge, for what its worth
