But any sounds help the ghost find you easier
not in any of my 90+ hours
We tested this out by having one of our friends just make random noises in a corner of the map while the rest of us gathered the evidence. We then had him be quiet and move to the other end of the map.
When it came time to hunt it decided to lock onto our friend who was making all the noise.
It ran straight out of the room and headed right to where he was sitting during the whole time making all that noise then proceeded to search for him from that point.
Sounds during a hunt don't seem to matter though. Seeing as I remember seeing a video of a group of people screaming during a hunt just to find out if the sound made it come to them and it never came for any of the ones making the sound.
yeah, that tracks with my experience and what others have said as well. it knows where you are via sound and such OUTSIDE OF A HUNT, but not WHILE HUNTING.
Ghost don't hear you during hunts. Me and a friend blast soundboard memes in the bathroom with the ghost outside the doorway and it doesn't care
The only thing that matters when a ghost is hunting is LINE OF SIGHT. If you're not in its vision, then it won't care about you and will just be wandering purely at random. And yes they can see behind them. As soon as you're out in the open and it's possible for the ghost to see your head, the grudge gurgling noise starts playing which is direct sound notification that tells you that you're in its line of sight and it is currently approaching you.
Another Level 600 here, and YES.
Agree, and thinks it would be better if they could hear you. The game would be much more interesting. It is a good game anyway though.
