You have a limited amount of pictures you can take. The little ''cooldown'' between taking pictures is there so you can't accidentally waste pictures.

Ive never seen a digital or filmed camera that only has 5 pictures available. Im with the OP on this one

Yeah man, I get that but tbh, when a ghost is flickering, you end up wasting more pictures than you would just spamming it. It's hard as hell to land a pic on the flickering ghosts

It's a game. Comparing it with real life doesn't make much sense.

We can only make 5 pictures per camera, and we can only hold 10 pictures in our journal.
This is not for realism purposes, but for game balancing purposes.

Otherwise you could just walk around the house constantly spamming pictures, and getting bone evidence and fingerprints etc. without doing any searching at all.

This game is easy enough as it is. No need to make it even easier.

I personally like how the game is already balanced... I disagree about the camera, I think it's fine the way it is. However, I can see that maybe adjusting the equipment according to the difficulty would be a consideration.

Not only does the game save the last 6 i believe images in the game directory, it also adds it to your journal. Performance wise, it makes sense for there to be a delay. There's already a minor lag when you snap a photo sometimes.

BRUH you do understand that in this game its trying TO BE REALISTIC AS POSSIBLE with everything including the equipment!

I'm fine with the cooldown and the limited number of shots, but the flickering ghost does get annoying. Had a team with 3 cameras, took 10 pictures of the ghost, one guy even looped it around the kitchen during a hunt to get pictures. It did not exist in 9/10 shots because of it's flicker. The one picture we did have that clearly showed the ghost ended up coming up as ouija because the ouija board was on the kitchen counter in the same shot.

I don't think you can get pictures of the ghost while its hunting, would just be too easy if you could but there's three different ways you can get the ghost picture credit which is from its shadow on a wall (good luck getting that if anyone has then good on you) the black mist of its model during a manifestation or its full model from the same circumstance, a ghost hunting is likely gonna block out the camera especially if its a Phantom as the camera is its weakness outside of hunting.

We've gotten ghost photos during hunts before but we do prefer the manifest option when possible. This thing just refused to manifest any other time though. We even had the misfortune of having both photo of ghost and dirty water as objectives that round so we stuck around a while. Did eventually get dirty water, didn't get ghost that round and normally ghost is much easier to get than the water is, oof.

Welcome to game logic.

Making it no-cooldown will allow trolls with autoclickers to waste all of them in 2 seconds.
Will also make taking ghost photos easier(and easier to burn through all the available photos)

Having more than 5 pictures will remove need in buying more photocameras. Photocamera is a free item, but if you want more - you'll have to waste 30$ per thing.
One photocamera can bring you around 25$ of cash, but with more photocameras - you can double your revenue
