Why isn't there a PC port for CTR: Nitrofueled?
It's been over a year, what gives?

Like, literally, they complain about piracy, lets consider that . . . ok, fine, piracy and it is a problem but ... they also dont deliver an official working product for PC while modders/hackers develop a way for the game to be played by emulator and some games even without emulator, they also do it for free and without a huge budget so . . . what are the devs excuses with budget and much more people to work at the port?
Lost Drunk 8 OCT 2020 a las 4:59 p. m.
Probably Activion never had the interest in make a port.
Or maybe the game have sold more than expected in consoles, so they rushed to Crash 4 project.

difficulty have nothing to do.

Who said anything about difficulty? Crash 3 is easier than 1 and 2 anyway.
I also think that but, difficulty also vary form player to player.

Because it turned into a live service game and Activision doesn't think it will make enough money on PC to bother with.

So . . they can not complain about piracy at PC when they never intended to sell for PC anyway ...

They are probably concerned more about how the cosmetics won't sell if people can just mod/cheat/hack them in.

Oh God, if that's true then they can keep it.
Don't be so dramatic, I'm sure the story campaign is the same experience I just meant that they kept the game going for over a year on console due to constant content updates with new characters, maps, and game modes that were fueled by cosmetic purchases and battle passes. The battle passes would be pointless at this point on PC since they are long over by this point and the cosmetics wouldn't sell if they can just be hacked/cheated/modded in.

Piracy and hack never was a problem to release a PC port. Good games sell well and who use hack or cheats must buy the game first to play online.
Although controversial, piracy helps to boost sales in some ways.

It's really a tragic that CTRNF won't come to PC and now Crash 4 has no PC too .

  • Online
  • In game micro transactions.

that's the reason as to why you won't see this game on PC

Then why is it that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is on PC, when it has got both these things? Heck on console it has got micro transactions, while on the PC it never had it.
On console you can purchase TP points with real money, while on PC there is no option to buy TP points.

Edit there are all those Sword Art Online game, which uses online and even has micro transactions, yet they all make it to PC.

Playing on the PC means we don't need to pay anyone subscription to play online, try playing on a console online without subscription that is impossible.
Neither Xenoverse nor Sword Art Online have micro-transactions, source? I own them all.

Sword Art Online is not even Online despite the name, is mostly Single-Player (it does have CO-OP elements however).

On console you can purchase TP medal with real money for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 here is the link incase you have doubts https://store.playstation.com/en-us/product/UP0700-CUSA05350_00-TP00010000000500

However on PC they didn't put any micro-transaction on it, there is no option to buy TP medal with real money.

Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris you can use real money to buy gold coins, well at least soon it will have it. This will be on all platform. Now I could be wrong about the past Sword Art Online.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1009290/SWORD_ART_ONLINE_Alicization_Lycoris/ incase your not aware. Check the news it says this "SAO Coins
SAO Coins are purchased for real money, and can be exchanged for various items in the game. You can buy SAO Coins via the menu in the SAO Shop.".

There is Shadow of War it used to have micro-transaction, which got removed later on. So right now there is no micro-transaction at all.

Companies has no problem with PC having micro-transaction, not adding micro-transaction or removing micro-transaction later on. This never stops a company from releasing their game.

It's a damn shame it's not coming to PC (Glad I got the game on Switch when I did.). I see MTX hacking as a sorry excuse for not porting the game. There are a lot of games on PC/Steam with MTX and they're doing fine. Probably not even 1% of the player base would even bother doing that.

Hell, if you're insane enough, like me, you can stockpile wumpa coins like crazy, just from playing the game. 400+ hours and I was able to buy out the pit stop constantly, without a single MTX. Only thing i'm missing is some "Win X times as Y" skins and the dev wheels.

Also, to an earlier post, there are no battlepasses in NF. You can earn everything from the GPs without spending a dime. The champion kart and it's GP skins requires actual effort though (Top 5% in the GP leaderboards).

cos they're apparently "done with CTR" and are currently focusing milking the ♥♥♥♥ out of other popular games such as Call of Duty. It's sad to see CTR die so early.

You thought that was bad enough, Team Sonic Racing, which came out at around the same time as CTR Nitro Fuelled, died even faster. In fact, it was literally dead at launch with barely anybody playing online.

At least the legacy of the original PS1 version of CTR will continue to live on forever to this day, and that is entirely offline, back when games didn't have micro-transactions or rely on online features to make a game enjoyable.
