Remove all the music in this game!

Unnecesary auditory stimuli distract your brain and weakens your concentration and reaction time, resulting in you performing worse. When it comes to music, vocals are the worst due to brain associating meanings to lyrics, adding more strain to your brain due to it automatically translating the audio into meaningful words for you. This is why vocal heavy music such as rap is the worst when you have a task you want to concentrate on. The best bet would be to listen to simple and non-vocal music or to not listen to music at all. This includes the in game music.

Not only is it weird that you find the music that distracting, but the option to mute music in a game is enough. The fact that you ask for devs to go an extra step and just remove music outright is ridiculous.

It is absolutely necessary for game devs to remove or at least turn off their musics by default because it is proven that hearing musics while performing a task generally weakens your brain performance, and make it that if people wants to "detriment" their brains they need to do it on their own conscience.
One very good example of how music should be implemented in game is CSGO. Where the music only plays during the in-game menu/lobby and at each end of the round, which serves as a way to relax each player brain for a short while to help them prepare their mentality for the next round. You will never hear any music while you are playing the round unless you do it on your own.

But in CSGO you listen for footsteps etc.

In Crash Bandicoot, I and all the other players that grew up with it never had issues. You don't need to listen for sounds. You just... play. It's really not hard, and the music does nothing to make it harder. And EVEN IF IT DID, you have the option to turn it off. The game isn't taking itself seriously, and the music is part of the experience.

By your logic, we should turn off all the beautiful textures and lighting because they also make the game more difficult.

I said music, not sound effects (footstep, etc.). And yes, when I was a kid I don't seem to have a problem with music. But after testing it on a game (action game to be precise), doing one of the dungeon with music, I manage to clear it around ~16 minutes and S rank, but after turning off the music I manage to clear it by just 12 minutes and still maintaining the S rank.
And what's textures and lightning have anything to do with this? Visual sight is something that goes to what you prefer. It is not as detrimental as music.

dude why do u hate videogame music its alot better than the trash that the music industry makes these days and im never turning off videogame music unless its boring to me like forza 6 and forza 7 music
