Butterfly Knife Pricing Guide (WANTING COMMUNITY FEEDBACK)

(This is a work in progress and still under construction. The more feedback i get from you all, the more accurate i can be here. These are all rough, averaged out prices that i have gathered on my note pad from ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and reddit)

As far as how rare the skin and pattern goes, yes it works for other knives and lower wear but the pricing is SPECIFICALLY for BUTTERFLY FACTORY NEW KNIVES!!!


This is my pricing guide and i would like to share it with you all. These are all average prices that i have gathered from the majority of posts and sales. The SS's come from the community. This is very detailed Price Check guide. It is an even and very fair estimation of what both parties should expect to pay/sell.

I have spent the last 3 and a half months taking notes and saving screen shot links (example skin patterns) for my own personal use. Spent Hundreds of hours on http://♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.com/ looking at ALL the posts. Half a dozen different forums. I've talked to over a dozen top traders with 1000+ trades under their belt and over 70 pages of +rep comments. Payed close attention and wrote down what these items have gone for. I've gone through (at the very least) 5000 screen shots and have visited over 400 hundred profiles.
This guide covers 2 tiers, 3 types of knives and their skin patterns, as well as touches on the subject of crimson web at the end.


What you should know before you continue is All Butterfly knives are mirrored!! There are 4 tiers of knives for butterfly's. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=262939417 (low tier, lower-mid tier, mid tier, and high tier) and within these tiers, there are classes. Slaughter and Fade fall under the same class within their HIGH TIER.

Crimson Web: High Tier, Class 2

Now as far as Crimson web goes i have seen a lot of outrageous prices. 800k-2000k even when its been a garbage skin pattern. Yes, i know they are rare. Yes, i know it is the top tier skin but the math just doesn't pan out. Based off of the pricings from the last 3 knives, each tier jumps up 70-100k based off skin. Though i haven't seen enough posts and Screen shots to average out a decent section to this guide, i will give you the best of my ability. So once again based off the rough math, and adding (some keys) to the fact they are the rarest, this is my best guess at what Crimson webs SHOULD BE PRICED AT!

Once again, this is my best estimate, BASED off the rough math from the other knife pricings.
