What skills from TF2 Will carry over?
I'm a soldier - demo - medic - engineer in TF2.

I play(ed) mid level comp for a bit of time.

What skills will transfer, and how can I get better?

Thanks.

2 diffrent games

they don't mix together
Hello. I was a TF2 fan before moving to CS:GO. They are vastly different, requring entirely different sets of minds; the skil level REQUIRED to play this game is very high, while in TF2, even noobs get kills.

Good Luck!

I get TF2's a easy game to learn, but hard to master, but I think I've mastered it. Most pubs I play I get 5 doms, and my RL is reset every 1k kills.

It's surprising how hard it is once you've mastered the basics.

In reguards to competitive play, the basics carries over. You work with you're team to the same degree, you listen for call outs you wait for a pick or 2, push the enemy team, rotate if you lose someone, you use sound sound to pin point where the enemy is ... so on so forth. Like GO, TF2 is incredibly tactical and relies on communication, tactics and positioning. So if you're use to that sort of play then you have a good start on new comers.

In reguards to general play. Nothing carries over except beying able to snipe targets.
