How to make CS:GO run better?
So i play CS:GO with about 10fps at the moment and its unbearable. (my pc broke so im using my laptop). It seems to run CS:GO far worse than any other game. CS:S runs perfectly and i can easily get 80+ frames with all the settings on as low as poosible. COD4 also runs fine and stable at 30fps. But CS:GO just doesnt like this laptop. I have all the settings on low, i have all other applications closed other than the game and steam. I've got cl_forcepreload 1 on. I have -high in my launch options. I use the lowest 16:9 res as that is the one that runs best (15fps).

I just want to know
Any extra commands or launch options that can speed up my game?

Help in any form would be greatly appreciated

Console:
"mat_queue_mode -1" turns on multicore rendering , you also can try -2 til 2 . But i think -1 gives you the most fps.

Graphic options:
Set all settings on the lowest possible. (Shadows on medium because otherwise u cant see playershadows)

FXAA -> disabled
AA -> Disabled
Vsync -> off
Blur-> off
etc etc

Launch options:
"-high -threats X -novid -processheap"
high: sets process priority to high
Threats X: X stands for the number of cores your cpu has
novid: turns off the annoying video on game start
processheap: uhm not sure what exactly it does but it can increase your fps a lot (or drop it :D)

oh, and update your gpu drivers ;)

-threads x, not threats :P and processheap doesnt do anything anymore, it used to fix some sort of memory leak but this has been patched now

So? Still awesome.
Cod4 isn't bad, not gonna hate on it. It's good for what it's made to be :)

Lowering your res will make the highest impact on your framerate.
