How can I choose 1280x1024 resolution ?
I want to choose 1280x1024 but I cant see 1280x1024 in resolution options . There is 640x480 , 720x576, 800x600 and 1024x768 but there is no 1280x1024 . I play yesterday with 1280x1024 but today I cant play . Why ? How can I choose 1280x1024 resolution ?

why would you want to play on that display? your aspect ratio leaves you looking at a square... :(

if you can't select it, then it means your monitor is not adept to handle a resolution that high. you could try overclocking your monitor but that's highly not reccomended.

Check the settings also under 16:9, 16:10 or 4:3 you have diff settings under every of those.

if you want to play 1280x1024 you must choose 4:3 and I choose 4:3 there is no 1280x1024 option . Yesterday I choose 4:3 there is 1280x1024 , 1600x900 , 1920x1080 , 800x600 but today I cant see many of them

I found this thread because I had the same question. I fixed it by selecting "Wide Screen" in the display options rather than "Fullscreen." Even though 1280x1024 is not a widescreen resolution but rather 5:4 (not 4:3, btw) it showed up nonetheless. All set.

Hopefully that helps. I'm on Linux Mint and that worked for me.
