We did initiate a slow shift of the Skill Group boundaries recently, due to an increase in players and a substantial upward drift over time in the skill groups distribution. While this won’t impact the quality of your matches (you are matched based on an underlying rank value and not the visible Skill Group), many players will experience a change in their Skill Group as the distribution returns to a bell curve centered approximately at Gold Nova 4. We also shipped a recent update that will automatically monitor and maintain consistency of the players skill groups distribution. That should eliminate the need to make such disruptive boundary adjustments in the future.

What do I think? Between the new system and the sale on the game.

I just sold all of my skins that were over 1.50$ and now am completely ready for when the next 50-60 games I want go on sale. Will keep playing the game for ♥♥♥♥♥ a giggles, but why even have a ranking system? globals and SMFC all play in nova and anywhere from Nova 3-DMG are all in the same elo now.

I just logged in, I was inactive for about 1.5 months in comp games so my rank disappeared. When my rank 'returned' after winning the first match after the rank disappeared my rank was down to MG1. Down from Eagle. Not sure what it's going on or why my rank went all the way down but I'm assuming this is a damn bug.

that's not the system, but your lack of skill!

less boosters at higher ranks mean better gameplay for those who can actually play at those ranks.

don't see why people don't just use the internet to search what the new ranking system means.

but thats means im implying that most of this community has any form of common sense or intelligence
