Trying aswell right now and first thing i already notice is the much higher serverquality, hits actually register and servers have the required bandwith to run well, meanwhile normal valve servers feel like lowend garbage in comparison.
People act legitimate and dont constantly sniff you behind walls.
something deeper is happening behind the scenes
Valve and CS might have a dedicated fanbase, but it's far from the biggest franchise or company.
In comparison, Sony has a yearly revenue of 30 billion and Valve's estimated revenue of 3.4 billion (2017 figures) would only place them at 11th on the yearly revenue list.
Valve is also one of the few companies that is somewhat independent from the huge corporate structure.
I do agree that the game is unplayable due to cheaters right now.
Leaving a bad review might be a good move.
+1
When a game is ten years old and releases fifty paid skins tucked behind crates, nobody bats an eye. But when that same ten year old game decides to create content every season and releases each of them for $4, well then everybody loses their mind.
