How? Valve confirmed for months now that CS2 would replace CS:GO forever. CS:GO is gone, just have to accept that and either play CS2 or go play something else. I'm glad they did that, CS:GO was old and showing its age after 11+ years. It was time.

LoL not a fanboy, living in reality. A lot of people complaining are legit on PCs from 2006. I'm not even kidding. They're mad because due to CS2, their ancient PCs and video cards are in dire need of an upgrade.

Go to your CS2 properties and go to the beta section and select csgo_demo_viewer - 1.38.7.9. That is the latest version of CSGO before cs2 was released. After you install that, you can load it and do not worry about the your client needs to update (the update is cs2).
You can still join any private server in your history and you can still join by ip or create a private server. CS2 isn't going anywhere and you should know that.
