+1 for a native macOS port.
Crazy that they just remove CS:GO and replace it with CS2 without support for macOS.
you can build a pc for $600-1000 and get above 600fps at max settings
and also have the benefit of playing other games that are not CS
It's unfortunate you can't comment anymore but Steam moderators have to do their job because this is not a comedy club.
You can but not everybody wants to buy a PC. Is that really so hard to understand? You don't "drop" $1300 on a Mac just to play games. It's the other way around. You buy a Mac for many other reasons and play games when you can. Btw who does even need 600 fps? Just because you can get that doesn't mean you need it.
and I'm pretty sure at how expensive modern Macs are you can build a pc that runs circles around it in performance for cheaper.
while also not having the typical apple nonsense of making devices borderline impossible to repair and upgrade.
I'm on mbp16 2019 (i7 9850H+RX5300M+16 RAM) native csgo had heavy input lag and fps drops to 60 in battles on ultra-low settings with shadows turned on,
also, I have mini m1 8/256, it runs more stable than mbp16 and doesn't have any input lag, so even on 80fps it can be played somehow.
dualboot to win using bootcamp on my mbp16 was the only way I was able to play somehow comfortable
