trusted sites would be either buff or skinbaron
other than that i got no clue
you use ANY 3rd party site on your own risk
there is no 100% safety for ANYTHING thats outside of steam.
For roughly safe third party, google the "reddit white list CS GO 3rd party website"
They have a list of occifally confirmed fair ones with supports and offical links
i think prices are leveling out like that because so many people are still trading/collecting csgo that demand dynamic is causing all these sites to really compete with each other. i view it as a good thing that Buff is getting "pressed" so to speak.
if you're new to trading/buying skins you should really try first to put in a low "buy order" on steam market for the skin(s) you are looking for. its common for people who trade a lot to discount sell their stuff rapidly on steam market, so they can get fast wallet funds into steam for new games, hardware etc.. they will undercut everyones listed prices and it might trip your low buy order giving you a nice discount.
that overpriced trashsite ?
get
paid
ofc they advertise it
still wont change the FACT, that cs.money is a complete RIPOFF
they brutally overprice their crap
