Tired of this "Disconnected by VAC: You cannot play on secure servers"
I played atleast 6 or 7 games in row today. Now I got kicked from mm server and this message "Disconnected by VAC: You cannot play on secure servers".
Some other guy in enemy team got it too and we both have 30min cooldown.
I had 6 games win streak in Lem/Supreme and now I'm so pissed!!!
Restarted my pc later and everything works just fine I don't get kicked by vac anymore (hope so). Valve fix pls, it's not first time this happens to me.

It's an issue with something like antivirus or firewall blocking VAC.

Hey bro. I just told you.

He has NEW laptop so it shouldn't have any issues.

Did you read the post? He had the problem for like 1week then it suddenly dissapeared. And now he got it again 1 time only tho.

It's known issue with Firewall/Antivirus. We know it.

But tell me why is he having the issue when he has new laptop and even after he got first time the VAC issue he installed whole his laptop for default settings (Factory reset, and still got the problem?)

Like i said, it's known issue for the Firewall/Antivirus but he was able to play for about 1 week when he bought the laptop and suddenly he got the VAC error for about 1 week period and after that he was able to play 1 whole month withouth the error.
And today he got it 1 more time but only once. I'm just talking for my friend since i'm his IRL friend i know his issue. The issue he's having isn't about his computer. It's VALVE's side.
Well, considering the fact that after he factory reset, the error left, maybe the error returned due to him installing another antivirus? And it might be doing the one week at a time due to the fact that antivirus' do update, and in a previous update it got rid of the error but now it's back. Also I have heard of some instances where people have gone onto a community server and it has installed a file that triggers a vac error, but not vac ban.

Hey bro. I did read the post. But if he didn't have the issue with his old computer but does now, it seems like his laptop could be the issue.

But hey bro. You clearly know everything, so I'll leave you to it. Good luck.

I have an ativirus and have not had problems YET. But either way, valve needs to fix this, AND if he has a new laptop as you say, there shouldnt be any problems. (Unless he inadvertently accepted an ativirus software trial like McAfee or something)

It doesn't matter if the laptop is brand new or not, it's a conflict with his software silly. What antivirus are you running?

What don't you listen at? I told you he removed ALL his firewall / Antivirus (Blocked ALL even Windows firewall) And still this issue was there.

So the problem wasn't at his side.

No offense but you don't know what you're talking about and your friend should be speaking not you.

Also Xenom.

He removed the firewall and other antiviruses, uses same i do. Still he got it 1 time now.. only 1 time.

We dont know the issue but it's really annoying. And i know and he knows the fixes for it but they're not working.. even it's brand new laptop.. shouldn't be ANY issues..

We take an eye for it..

Maybe if valve would spend more time fixing csgo bugs instead of in court over promoting illegal gambling ^.^ we wouldnt have these kinds of problems ;p

But we have to suffer.. nothing to do about these issues... Without talking about cheaters...... Everyone knows about them.. and the ISSUE about them... But..... Who makes the change.... The time... which.. will.. PROBABLY.... never...... come... ;) Who knows...

Check out my guide, it includes every possible solution (official and unofficial ones, with several links to them) as well as helpful advice:

i had this problem or something very similar some time ago, solved by verifying the game cache, for some reasons, probably something went bad when the game was updated or smth

We KNOW These steps as if u would have read the previous posts without just commenting this here.
Apparently, you didn't read the whole guide. There isn't a simple set of steps, there is so much additional info that helps narrowing down the source of the problem!

If there was a simple step-by-step solution, there wouldn't be tons of people being annoyed by the error. :steamfacepalm: Next time, take your time to go through everything before scolding people who are trying to help you. :ConcreteDonkey: Seriously.

If you refuse the do the step to fix your problem, then you should stay away because you're too computer illiterate. Enjoy not playing.

Funny how everyone is trying to help you and you keep going the whole "WE KNOW THIS BRO!!111!" and "were not first timers" when you clearly just said he doesin't use the forums. It doesin't matter if he's a first timer if the problem is happening for him let him talk, not you. Because he could probably explain alot more than you could.
