I have an ativirus and have not had problems YET. But either way, valve needs to fix this, AND if he has a new laptop as you say, there shouldnt be any problems. (Unless he inadvertently accepted an ativirus software trial like McAfee or something)
No offense but you don't know what you're talking about and your friend should be speaking not you.
Maybe if valve would spend more time fixing csgo bugs instead of in court over promoting illegal gambling ^.^ we wouldnt have these kinds of problems ;p

If there was a simple step-by-step solution, there wouldn't be tons of people being annoyed by the error. Next time, take your time to go through everything before scolding people who are trying to help you. Seriously.
