Is prefiring effective at long distances? I thought it only worked at close range because theres less of an accuracy loss from firing and moving at the same time if your opponent fills up more of your screen.
I can't tell you how many times We've planted bomb.. with 4 of us left and 1 CT.. and I say.. "DON'T PEAK THE AWPER! LET HIM COME TO US. WERE DEFENDING NOW HE HAS TO COME TO US!"
And all of my teammates peak his ass and die. -.-
I thought the idea of prefiring was to start firing before you leave cover whereas with stutter stepping you need to wait until you've stopped to fire.

If you want really want to challenge a sniper, force them to miss the shot with a feint, so you can return fire.
