The current server crashing exsploit has been around for about 4 months now.

since I haven't experienced it yet myself what happens after the server crashes?
game over, queue next?
do you have to reconnect but can't and you get a penalty?
or is this just a casual matchmaking thing?

Match is just cancelled or sometimes server is working again after 2/3 minutes of reconnecting

I don't think devs care, they don't care for recoil exploit with a4tech mice that lasts for years why would the care for new ones.

They do care and every year there is another server crasher exploit fixed and another & another... They will fix this definitely soon too when there is enough attention in public or general abuse.

The second thing you mentioned is not an exploit but mouse driver macro. - Would you like if they block mouse drivers software (such as logitech g hub, razer synapse etc.)?
Would be hilarious dumb to block these, just like valorant did. The community was raging about it, since not everyone has an onboard memory on their mice to save it in order to not need the use of their software.
The problem with this is that you can create macros with almost any modern mouse software, which could be abused for recoil compensation, bunnyhop & more.

However it's not worth using such a macro because you won't learn something from it and can still be banned from overwatch.

It's so easy to just bind mwheeldown "+jump" or bind mwheelup "+jump" to jump with mousewheel - no macro needed & no risk of a ban!

Same goes for recoil compensation, there are very good maps to practice your recoil for any weapon, here is an example:

Pls don't believe everything you read in the internet.
Especially this community tends to lie about anything. Most likely these hours are botted or bought accounts anyway.
They will be banned over again & again.
New players will believe their fake news, misinformations & myths about vac & overwatch. This will end up in them getting banned too.
