Congratulations to the winner, Cloud9 for winning their first Major.

Pick'Em Trophies will be, as usual, handed out over the next few days.

Currently the first big LAN major of this year is being played in Boston. We've seen an update add stickers and the Pick'Em challenge.

You can discuss the LAN-event itself in this thread.

Over on reddit (/r/GlobalOffensive) they've a great regularly updated overview of the matches and times [redd.it]they're played, as well as the streams.

Where can I watch the livestream
- Via GOTV on the main-menu WATCH tab, or watch your favorite Twitch stream.

How can I receive drops (aka souvenir packages)?
- To be eligible for a souvenir package, all you have to do is watch matches in-game via GOTV on the main-menu WATCH tab, or watch your favorite Twitch stream with a linked account[www.twitch.tv] (also: here)

How do I chose teams?
- Via the Pick'Em Challenge page.

How come the matchmaking servers have turned into pure aids? I went into a game on spanish servers and everyone had over 100 ping and was rubber banding and complaining. I have only experienced this around major times, so I was wondering if the major effects the matchmaking servers.
